Music has shaped who I am; as a professional French horn player and pianist, I've found both quiet discipline and joyful expression in its language.

It's where my heart finds its voice, and where I discover new ways to connect with and uplift others through every note.

Concerto Concert (60).jpeg

My musical journey - 13 years and beyond.

Music is my lifelong passion and pursuit. As the Principal Horn of the Hong Kong Youth Orchestra and my school’s award-winning Brass Ensemble, I have dedicated myself to this craft. A defining moment came when I became the youngest concerto soloist at my school’s 2023 Concerto Competition & Concerto Concert, and made history as the first French horn player ever to take home this top prize. Performing a demanding concerto for a packed auditorium allowed me to spread the joy of music and showcase the craft I have spent years polishing.

Beyond competitions and concerts, I’ve invested deeply in improving myself. Earning the ATCL Diploma in French Horn, a credential that required preparing and performing a recital on par with a first-year undergraduate program, pushed me to master technical precision while learning to infuse every piece with emotional depth.

What really made me fall in love with music is its magic as a universal language without the use of words. It’s in those moments of unspoken understanding when an orchestra moves as one, the warmth of filling a school bazaar with Christmas carols, or the joy of sharing a piece I composed and watching my friends enjoy the melody. For me, music is how I listen, how I connect, how I express myself, and how I bring people together.
